All of the pieces in The Buckingham Crystal Glass Panel Range are designed and produced specifically for presentation. Whatever the occasion - commemorative, anniversary or presentation - an engraved item of hand cut 24% lead crystal glass is certainly a cut above everything else.

Each piece has its own blank panel around one quarter of its circumference onto which text and/or designs can be engraved. At Crystal Glass to Cherish we only use the finest traditional sandblasting techniques. This is a skilled process needing a great deal of practice and experience - it is completely different to simply scratching the glass. The end result is a high quality finish which does not rub off unlike many printed designs.
The engraving begins with a black and white design/image which is treated so as to transfer its white parts onto the piece as clear natural glass and the black areas as an eroded white frosted surface. The end result is a most attractive contrast between the two areas and the creation of a lasting and unique piece of crystal artwork.

A number of the pieces in our Buckingham Panel Range are also available in the Buckingham Fully Cut Range with the identical cut design. This makes it possible for you to personalise one or more panelled pieces in a set for different people while the others are full cut without engraving for general use. You can make your own choice as to names and/or designs to have engraved onto your wine glasses, decanters and glassware. If you don't have a family coat of arms one can be designed. We can make all the necessary artwork which is required to make the engraving and we can do everything needed to produce your design from the outset. Pricing for personalising the Buckingham Panel Range is straightforward. There are no hidden charges and all prices include VAT. Delivery is added at the checkout according to weight and charged to you at the cost to us or less.

1.The item price shown in its box is for plain without engraving. (There will also be the shipping cost!). This option is for customers who might like a piece as it is or to have engraved themselves.

2. Engraved inscriptions £0.22 per character.

3. Engraving from your own provided artwork (which must be 2 colour black and white vector or other acceptable format which can be used without any adaptation or alteration) £24.00 to include setting up and one engraving. Subsequent engravings £15.00.

4. Engraving of your own custom design having made artwork from your drawing or sketch: All artwork, setting up and one engraving £44.00. Subsequent pieces £15.00.

5.Engraving with your choice of one of our designs £14.65. Further pieces of the same design £11.15 each

If you are purchasing for your own or general use then we will supply items in standard cardboard box packaging (easily recycled). If you are buying as a gift we can offer blue presentation boxes with cushioned satin lining (also in blue). These boxes add a definite touch of luxury and cost approximately between £5.50 and £12.50 according to size. For the larger items (where presentation boxes are not available) such as mixed collections of glasses, decanters and so on we can supply gift (as opposed to presentation boxes) boxes.
